Like its predecessor, Super Slim is built on an 8-core 3.2 GHz processor and has 256 MB of RAM, but the hard drive is available in 2 versions — 12 and 500 GB. From a technical point of view, this console is outdated: the processor frequency is only 294 MHz, the RAM is 32 MB, and the overall set of features is not comparable to the successor to the PlayStation 3. On the other hand, version 2 has long been one of the standards, and it is written for it a huge number of games. The set-top box can be used as a media centre for watching movies from DVD with 5.1 sound; in addition to optical discs, memory cards are also supported. The package includes a DualShock2 joystick.

An updated version of one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world, which has received a number of significant changes compared to its predecessors. So, the system boasts a new 8-core liquid-cooled CPU and a unique power management system, a powerful graphics card and 12 GB of RAM. The maximum image resolution is 4K, and support for HDR is also provided, which improves the quality of colour reproduction, makes the image more realistic and enhances the impression of depth. Specifically, this modification comes with a built-in 1 TB drive. All existing accessories and games for the Xbox One are compatible with the Xbox One X. The set of ports is notable for three USB 3.0 connectors and more→two HDMI, and you should also pay attention to the optical S / PDIF, which provides the ability to connect 7.1 acoustics.

Although this console is similar in name to the original 3DS XL (and even the screen sizes are the same — 4.88 "and 4.18"), it is much closer in terms of characteristics to the "regular" New 3DS, released in the same 2014. Of these characteristics, it is worth noting, first of all, support for 3D graphics (the "calling card" of the whole family), additional controls (including a second analogue joystick), NFC support, in addition to traditional Wi-Fi, 1 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. The console has 2 cameras, with the rear equipped with a twin lens for shooting 3D, and the front one has an eye tracking function to optimize the 3D image on the display.

The technical characteristics of this portable set-top box are fully consistent with the name: in fact, we have the same 3DS in front of us, and the main difference from the original is the increased size of both displays — 4.88 "and 4.18" for the top and bottom, respectively. Another difference is the bundle, which includes, in addition to the stylus, also a 4 GB SD memory card. Other characteristics are almost identical: 3D playback without special glasses, a camera with a pair of lenses for three-dimensional shooting, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a Wi-Fi module.

Quite an interesting variation on the theme of the original PlayStation 3. On the one hand, the new console has lost a memory card slot and half of the USB ports (Slim has 2 of them). On the other hand, the volume of the built-in storage has increased to 120 GB (in the minimum configuration), and power consumption has decreased by 30% with the same hardware basis: 8-core processor with 3.2 GB, 256 MB of RAM and a Blu-ray drive. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, integration with the PlayStation Network and even the installation of additional software from the PlayStation Store.

A portable game console, in fact, a modification of the advanced 3DS model, created with the expectation of simplification and corresponding reduction in price. The simplification affected primarily 3D capabilities — none of the 2DS screens are capable of reproducing 3D (although the camera for creating three-dimensional images has not disappeared). So, the design of the controller actually blurs the line between desktop and portable consoles: it is actually a separate portable console with a microphone, camera and its own 6.2" touch screen, where, if necessary, you can switch the gameplay from an external screen. At the same time the console is compatible with the games and all the accessories of its predecessor.

An update to the Xbox One line, released in 2016, with the expectation that Microsoft's desktop consoles "keep up with the times." The body has become smaller and sleeker. The hardware received a more powerful processor and video accelerator, thanks to which the maximum video resolution in the Microsoft Xbox One S game console reaches 4K (and the game “picture” can be upscaled to this resolution). And to improve colour reproduction and detail, the HDR function is useful. Connection interfaces are notable for the presence of two HDMI ports — output and input — as well as an IR output for remote control of other equipment.

A high-end portable console, the successor to the original 3GS, retaining its basic principles and at the same time having a number of changes and improvements. The most noticeable external differences are an expanded set of controls (including a new analogue stick) and larger screen sizes — 3.88" and 3.33". In addition, the set-top box received an improved processor, a microSD slot (instead of SD), an NFC, and improved 3D capabilities. Features such as 3D shooting using the rear camera and tracking the user's eyes from the front have been preserved. But the built-in memory has decreased to 1 GB. The console is compatible with older games for the DS family.

Another variation on the PSP theme, this time from 2009. This model immediately catches the eye due to the non-standard, within the line, case, made in the slider form factor. For the first time among the models of the family, in addition to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth support appeared, but there is no UMD drive, the console only works with memory cards. The hardware is traditional — a 333 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM, but the screen has become somewhat smaller — 3.8 ". Traditionally, integration with the PlayStation 3 and PS Network support are provided.

Although this console is not the most advanced on the market today, it still has a very impressive set of features, both basic and advanced. An advanced game console from the notorious company nVIDIA. Externally, the model looks like a gamepad with a 5-inch folding screen on board, which makes it comfortable in the hands. But at the same time, there is a powerful hardware hardware “under the hood”: a 4-core processor at 1.9 GHz, a GeForce ULP video accelerator and 2 GB of RAM. Of particular note is the ability to stream games from a PC via Wi-Fi, but only computers with an Nvidia graphics card older than the GTX650 model are supported. The device uses Android 4.2.1 as the OS.

A desktop game console that combines the capabilities of a set-top box itself and a network media centre running Android 6.0. The basis of the hardware is the NVIDIA Tegra X1 chip with 3 GB of RAM and a video accelerator for 256 cores, and the built-in drive (solid state) holds 16 GB; however, if necessary, this volume can be expanded with a memory card or a USB drive connected via one of the two USB 3.0 connectors. There are no optical drives, the main source of games for the nVIDIA Shield game console is the NVIDIA GeForce Now network service, the use of which is paid (except for the first months). Through the HDMI 2.0 port, the device is capable of outputting 4K video and sound up to 7.1 more→to an external screen, there are no other multimedia interfaces. But wireless communications are represented by Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.1 modules. The standard package includes a game controller, but the “TV” remote will have to be purchased separately.

As the first handheld console from Nintendo to support 3D, this model still has very advanced 3D capabilities. So, the upper display is capable of displaying a 3D image visible to the naked eye, and the software part allows you to adjust the “three-dimensional intensity”, and the camera is equipped with a pair of lenses for 3D shooting.
