The new icicles PRO HardTube fittings from Alphacool, are a further development of the well-known previous icicles. In the development of fittings, Alphacool focused on a specific problem: the deformation of PETG HardTubes at high temperatures. These can deform at 60 °C.
Although such a temperature is usually rarely reached, it can still stand up. The icicles PRO prevent this problem from the beginning and keep the tubes in place.
Deformation is prevented by the new nylon inserts inside and stabilises the hard tubes. Furthermore, the fitting still has an O-ring and a compression seal.
However, the contact surface is much larger than normal O-rings, which ensures a better . Thanks to the insert and the compression seal in the connection, the tube is protected from inside and outside
