The signal output from a record player is extremely delicate, and the quality of the circuits and components affects the sound quality. This product combines a class-A operation FET type MC head amplifier with an orthodox NF type RIAA equalizer amplifier using high-quality components. The circuit configuration has a large maximum allowable input by converting the 12V output from the AC adapter into a ±12V power supply using the latest high-performance regulator IC. Analog records have a large dynamic range, but this maximum allowable input margin produces sound quality that rivals high-end equalizer amplifiers.
