It is often humid and plenty of ventilation is therefore required. Nordisk summer bags come with ankle length zipper to maximize ventilation. The hood construction is flat to cater as a comfortable blanket for your head during the warmer nights. If need be the hood can be tightened around your head to provide more heat.- In warmer climate a sleeping bag is often used fully open and there is no need for it to be tightened closely around your body. For this exact reason summer bags are not constructed with a neck baffle.Sleeping bag shape: Mummy:- A mummy shape is fitted the human body contour, offering a snug fit with optimal insulation properties as air gaps are kept to a minimum. The mummy shape is ideal for any outdoor enthusiast for whom performance is key.Construction: Stitched through:- Baffles are chambers keeping the filling as uniformly between the outer shell and the inner lining as possible. The basic method is stitched-through where the shell and lining are stitched directly together. Since the stitches separates the chambers, there will be a limited heat loss following this construction, making it less fitted for extreme conditions.
