The IC C/W2 wall light balances simplicity and elegance, juggling form and function. The simple light spheres rest on a delicate metal rod, boldly taking their place and proudly illuminating the brass or chrome surface. The IC C/W2 wall light is part of a lighting series consisting of table lamps, floor lamps, wall lights and pendant lights, all of which stubbornly adhere to the solid DNA that characterises the entire series. The simple and light design means that the lights fit into many styles. Michael Anastassiades describes the inspiration for this lighting series as follows: "I stumbled across an online video clip featuring a contact juggler, Tony Duncan. He was juggling several balls, moving them over his arms to his fingertips. As I was completely mesmerised by the magic of his skill, I suddenly saw the balls come to a complete standstill, and it was precisely this moment that I wanted to capture in my design! And then I stumbled across old photographs of Paul Cinquevalli, who was captivated by the art of contact juggling. That was my starting point. The initials IC come from the code used by the English police to determine the ethnicity of the person they stop on the street in their report back to the station. So that's the playful story that defined the different designs." Material: Base in brass or chrome with an opal glass shade. All table and floor lamps are dimmable.
