ECE

— a standard developed by the Economic Council of Europe and used primarily in European countries. It provides for rather strict requirements for product quality, in this respect ECE surpasses Snell and DOT, second only to ACU Gold. So, several selected helmets from each individual batch are tested, tests are carried out based on different weights and head sizes of a motorcyclist, and only when the safety level is confirmed, the batch receives a certificate and goes on sale.
