The Tefal Virtuo lineup includes lightweight (averaging around 1 kg) and affordable irons that are everyday classics. They’re a good fit for those who iron irregularly and in small batches—students, young families, or anyone who wants a practical device on hand without overpaying for extra features. It’s also a great option for people looking for a reliable and budget-friendly iron without extra frills, unlike models like Puregliss or Ultimate.

In terms of capabilities, the Virtuo series follows a straightforward principle: nothing excessive, only what you truly need. The models deliver 1400–2000 W of power, with steam output reaching 24–27 g/min—just enough for confident work with the most common types of fabrics. At the same time, a 200–240 ml water tank lets you iron several shirts or a bedding set in one go without refilling. To cover as many needs as possible, Tefal equipped different Virtuo models with various types of soleplates, including ceramic, Teflon, and non-stick.

The Virtuo series’ additional features focus on the essentials. Almost all models are equipped with a self-cleaning anti-scale system that helps extend the iron’s service life and saves you from routine maintenance. Many irons support auto shut-off after a long idle period, improving safety. And for added convenience, the series often uses a special Easycord mount at the base of the cable that keeps the cord away from the fabric so it doesn’t get in the way while ironing.
