The soundstage of the Cadenza Blue from Ortofon  is wide open and grandiose as soon as you take it out of the box. The Cadenza Blue employs a Nude FG 70 stylus with a very thin ruby cantilever and the improved winding process of the armature ensures better channel balance than any model that came before it.

The Ortofon Cadenza Red features a nude fine line stylus with a cylindrical aluminium cantilever. The stylus tip radius is r/R 8/40 µm. The coils are made from 6NX (99.9999 %) pure silver wire. An improved winding process on the armature allows a better channel balance.

Replacement cartridge with half-inch mount that is specially designed for the needs of DJs and features a highly-rigid polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)/glass fibre body and a tracking force of 2 to 4 grams (3 grams standard).
