Floodlight

— a type of luminaire designed to create a luminous flux with a high intensity and a relatively small width (in some models, the illumination angle can be 180 °, but closer to the edges, the illumination intensity drops noticeably). To do this, the design, usually, uses a reflector that directs most of the light in one direction. Spotlights are used primarily for directional illumination, including over a relatively long distance; the latter distinguishes them from luminaires with similar characteristics.
