— lamps that use light emitting diodes (LED) as light sources. They can have a different design: in some models, a non-removable module of one or more LEDs is installed, others use replaceable LED bulbs fixed in a standard base. It is worth noting that even in the second case, LEDs cannot be changed to other light sources: LEDs consume little and almost do not heat up, and installing a more traditional lamp (for example, halogens) can lead to overload and overheating.In fact, extremely low power consumption and lack of heat are the key advantages of LED lighting. Its main disadvantage is its high cost.
