This feature can be useful if you want to show a video or photo to several friends, but there is no TV or other similar screen nearby. Of course, built-in projectors are not very powerful and poorly suited for viewing in bright light — on the other hand, they are not designed to be a full-fledged replacement for full-size projectors.
