Such products are generally quite gentle, they do not differ in particular intensity of exposure, many of them are suitable for repeated use during the day — in order to maintain shape and volume. Sprays are used mainly to give hair suppleness, facilitate combing, as well as additional protection and nutrition of hair. Also, such compositions often provide the effect of fixing, increasing volume and enhancing shine, however, these effects are much less pronounced than with specialized products like varnishes.It is worth noting that sprays sometimes also include a specific type of varnish intended for use on wet hair. However, classic varnishes (see the relevant paragraph) are not considered sprays in this classification, although they are most often applied from spray cans.
