Powder

— a dry styling product in the form of a fine powder (usually based on silica and rice/corn starch) that instantly adds root volume, light matte hold, and texture without weighing it down. It is used for fine and soft hair, for "second day" styling, backcombing, and braiding: simply sprinkle at the roots or on the strands and rub with fingers — the volume "reveals" itself literally from the friction. Compared to dry shampoo, the powder "refreshes" less and shapes the style more, while unlike hairspray and pomades/waxes, it provides a matte, movable result without stickiness. Suitable for short haircuts, bangs, curls, ponytails, and braids; for dark hair, it is better to choose clear or tinted formulas and apply moderately to avoid a white residue, then thoroughly wash the hair in the evening.
