— heat pumps are a specific type of heating system, a kind of “reverse air conditioner”: the coolant takes heat energy from the environment and transfers it to the room, while the unit itself does not produce heat (unlike, for example, from a heating boiler).

Heat pumps are especially suitable for low-temperature heating systems, as well as for situations where heating is needed constantly, throughout the year.
