Also, some models with original EMS also support the OpenTherm standard; such devices are included in both corresponding selection points at once.

In general, EMS standards (all versions) have wide functionality, a high degree of automation and the ability to create extensive control systems on a single bus. Among the regulators, the original EMS (often in combination with OpenTherm) is found mainly in Bosch equipment, EMS Plus — in devices from Buderus.
