Each of the driving wheels can be equipped with a peg, and it can be mounted both on the right and on the left side. The class of pegs is determined mainly by the material of manufacture. So, low-cost options, which are often used by beginners, are made of plastic, while professional pegs use high-strength aluminium alloy, titanium, or a combination of both in their construction.
