Plug rods
Plug
— composite design, in which the individual parts of the rod in the disassembled state are not connected to each other, but are connected during assembly using bushings. The main advantage of plugs is unpretentiousness to assembly: the process is as simple as possible and it is almost impossible to assemble the rod incorrectly, while the assembled “plug” will correspond as closely as possible to the claimed characteristics of flexibility and “biting” of the rod, regardless of the experience of the fisherman who assembled it. Therefore, this design is widely used in match, casting and other "high-precision" rods. Its disadvantage is some inconvenience in transportation — the components must be placed in a case or at least tied together.Show
