— electromechanical models work due to the fact that their own electric motor (servomotor) moves a special contact directly along the transformer winding, thus changing the number of turns involved in the work. Of the advantages of this design, it is worth noting the extremely high accuracy, and of the disadvantages — a relatively low response speed and a rather narrow operating range.
