Such displays are somewhat more expensive than black and white, but they are much more practical and functional. So, a colour image allows not only displaying service information and the settings menu, but also viewing graphic materials — for example, layouts for printing on a flash drive or memory card connected to the plotter. And the mentioned price difference is almost imperceptible against the background of the total cost of the device. So modern plotters are mostly equipped with this type of screens.
