— clamps for fixing the device on the edge of a table or in another similar place; usually have the appearance of characteristic clamps.Clamps are noticeably superior to suction cups in terms of holding reliability, and besides, they do not lose efficiency as they wear out. The main disadvantage of this type of mounts is that they can only be used on the edge of the countertop (or other surface where the steering wheel is installed). On the other hand, the rudders are often mounted on the edge or directly close, so most often this disadvantage is not fundamental.
Also note that some modern steering wheels are equipped with two types of mounts at once — both clamps and suction cups. Similar models are also included in this category.
