Water mineralization

— the presence of a mineralization function — saturation of water with various useful micronutrients (potassium, calcium, fluorine, iron, etc.). These substances in the right amount can also be contained in ordinary unfiltered water, but they are often removed along with other impurities during the purification process; this is especially true for models with a reverse osmosis function. The mineralizer thus restores the chemical composition of the water, makes it more useful, and even improves the taste. Usually, for this purpose, replaceable cartridges are used with a specially selected mineral mixture that slowly dissolves during use.
