USB3.1 brings many improvements to the previous standard USB3.0. The most noticeable is the new Type-C connector which is much smaller than the previous standard connectors it is also reversible.

Another feature is called Alternative Mode. This allows the USB to carry different types of signal including DisplayPort. Our video adapters will use this mode and convert the DP signal into the one you need.

Our USB C DisplayPort MST adapter allows you to connect two DisplayPort monitors to a source with a USB C port. MST functionality allows the two screens to act independently of each other in extend mode this adapter also supports mirror mode.

MST adapters are more suitable for laptops and computers that have limited ports such as 1 USB C port. This adapter allows you to connect two computer screens with 4k@ 60Hz to your Laptop/computer. When using just one port on the adapter you can achieve 8k@ 30Hz.

For full functionality the source must have a USBC DP Alt mode v1.4.
