3-band Wi-Fi equipment
tri-band (2.4, 5 and 60 GHz)
— the combination in one device of all three main Wi-Fi ranges used nowadays. Such devices are compatible with all Wi-Fi standards (see the corresponding list), in addition, the presence of three separate ranges allows you to divide user devices into ranges, reducing the load on each individual channel and increasing the actual communication speed. At the same time, such functionality is not cheap, and 60 GHz WiGig has its own specifics (for more details, see "Wi-Fi Standard"), which is why it is mainly used in single-band equipment. So this option is extremely rare these days.clear | Save List |
