Swivel body

— housing, the back of which can be rotated around a longitudinal axis. This possibility is relevant for models where the longitudinal axis of the lens does not coincide with the axis of the eyepiece — namely, if the eyepiece is bent and or displaced (see "Eyepiece location"). The swivel design allows you to adjust the tube to different situations: for example, when observing from a shelter, the eyepiece can be turned down and use the tube in the manner of a periscope, putting out only the lens, and when viewing the sky, it is more convenient to look into the tube from above.
