Thermal imager

— as the name implies, thermal cameras react to heated objects — more precisely, to the IR radiation emitted by heated objects; on the basis of this radiation, the device builds a “picture” visible to the operator. Moreover, each colour in such an image corresponds to a certain temperature. This format of work allows you to see objects that merge with the background in the optical (visible) range: for example, an animal or a person will be clearly visible in a thermal imager due to increased body temperature, even if they are indistinguishable to the naked eye against the background of the surrounding area. At the same time, the effectiveness of such detection strongly depends on the air temperature — in the heat it decreases.
