— wired connection to a computer or laptop using a USB cable. A standard universal USB connector is found on board almost all modern computers. Therefore, this connection option is most common today. However, this method is not very convenient: the wire limits the maximum distance from the tablet to the PC, and sometimes it has to be pulled into hard-to-reach places (for example, if the system unit is installed under a table with ports facing the wall). In most cases, these inconveniences are not critical, and wired tablets themselves are cheaper than wireless models.
