XP-PEN Deco graphics tablets are devices without a built-in screen, designed for digital drawing, retouching, and design. The family includes several product lines: compact Mini and Fun versions for travel, basic models for home use, and advanced Deco Pro options for more complex work. Connection to computers or mobile devices is via cable, while some models additionally support wireless Bluetooth connectivity.

At the heart of their operation is a battery-free, cordless stylus supporting up to 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and pen tilt recognition. Newer models in the series use the proprietary X3 microchip, which significantly reduces the minimum force required to draw a line, makes the response instantaneous, and eliminates tip wobble. The matte surface coating has a lightly textured finish with slight friction, simulating the feel of drawing on ordinary paper.

The series offers several interesting and practical features, including customizable controls. The bodies feature programmable buttons and, on some models, mechanical or touch scroll wheels, which make it convenient to zoom the canvas, change brush size, and rotate layers without using the keyboard. The tablets have a symmetrical design and support 180-degree rotation, making them equally convenient for right- and left-handed users. The corners of the work area feature adjustable-brightness LED lighting for working in low-light conditions, while the series is compatible not only with Windows and macOS, but also with Linux, ChromeOS, and Android.

The series is suitable for: beginner and advanced digital artists, retouchers, online lesson instructors, left-handed users, and those who need a reliable tool with shortcut keys and a physical control wheel.

The series is not suitable for: illustrators who require a pen display with the image shown directly beneath the pen, and those looking for a fully autonomous device for working without connecting to a PC or smartphone.
