— illumination with ultraviolet light, which makes it possible to reveal some security features of the bill, as well as extraneous marks made by “invisible ink”. Accordingly, in this way it is possible to detect not only counterfeit, suspicious or extraneous bills, but also specially marked money (for example, bills used as material evidence in a bribe or blackmail case).
