Tact/buttons

— a kind of control that combines buttons (see above) with a tact switch. Such a switch looks like a rotary wheel, which does not rotate smoothly, but in “steps” (cycles — hence the name). The features of such control are generally similar to the usual push-buttons; just the tact wheel, in some cases, is more convenient and more visual than the buttons — for example, it is easier for them to set the time on the timer.
