Sound detection

— the function of detecting sounds in a protected space. “Hearing” a sufficiently loud sound, a camera with this function can react in one way or another: turn on for recording, give a warning signal or an alarm, etc. Some models can even play the role of acoustic break sensors, accurately detecting a characteristic blow to glass and the sound of fragments. Support for sound detection automatically means the presence of a microphone (see the relevant paragraph).
