Compared to a cheap camera, this is like night and day. Very high-quality product. We've been using it for 2 weeks. I recommend it. - The advantages start with the box, meaning installation on various surfaces (wall, pipe, ceiling), and connection wires can also be routed at different angles from the body as there are corresponding openings. - The power supply has 3-4 meters of wire. - The set includes a special moisture-proof case for the LAN wire. - The quality of the footage is pleasing, but that's a separate topic that requires comparison with other cameras—I previously had a camera for roughly 15 EUR, around 2MP, everything would be fine except the app is complete garbage. - The proprietary app is ad-free!! The TP-LINK Tapo C560WS surveillance camera provides a flexible and nearly fully automated system for control, alerts, alarms, and video recording, which can be tailored to various scenarios. The device supports creating a weekly schedule, allows selecting events and objects to trigger recording, controlling the lens in PTZ mode, and setting a panoramic monitoring zone with a 360º view. To deter unwanted visitors, there are light and sound alarms and pre-recorded voice warnings. The camera also offers the ability to remotely communicate with couriers and unfamiliar visitors through its built-in microphone and speaker. All primary functions are integrated into the branded mobile app, where voice assistants and additional useful tools are available. A strong feature of the model is its AI-based intelligent algorithms: the camera can recognize people, vehicles, and animals, identify a person's face, read a car's license plate, and perform other tasks. Users can add family members' profiles for more precise recognition of familiar faces and detection of strangers. Additionally, customizable activity and privacy zones are provided.
Technical Superiority
The outdoor camera is capable of recording video in 4K resolution at any time of day and under various lighting conditions. A sensor with an aperture of f/1.6 and image enhancement technologies WDR and 3DNR ensures a decent viewing angle, natural color reproduction during the day, good detailing at night, and an 18x digital zoom. For connection to a local network, the internet, and a video recorder, both a wired interface via a LAN port and a wireless connection via dual-band Wi-Fi 6 are available. It is worth noting the support for the ONVIF protocol, thanks to which the camera is compatible with various video recording systems and third-party equipment. An additional advantage is the Tapo Care cloud service with a 30-day trial access, after which the service is available on a subscription basis.
