The German company Bosch has two camps of coloured power tools: green and blue. The category of green grinders of the brand includes amateur devices for use in everyday life. A series of tools in this coloring is designated by the abbreviation DIY, which stands for "Do It Yourself", i.e. "Do it yourself".

Bosch homemade grinders are designed for light jobs of relatively short duration. The “green” DIY tool league includes grinders, vibratory, eccentric, belt and multifunctional grinders. All of them are powered by a regular 230 V socket, in rare cases, home series appliances are powered by a rechargeable battery.
