Car winches
Automobile winches
— any winch is a device for moving goods, working by rotating the drum, on which the cable is wound (less often, the belt). And this category includes electric winches, originally intended for installation on cars. Such models are designed for a supply voltage of 12 or 24 V (both options can be supported) — these are the voltages used by the on-board networks of modern cars, with 12 V being the standard for passenger cars, and 24 V for heavier equipment, including many powerful SUVs.The classic use of a car winch is to pull a stuck car out of a puddle, mud, deep snow, etc. To do this, the unit is mounted in front near the radiator grille; and if necessary, the winch cable clings to a tree, pole or other sufficiently stable object, and the device “pulls itself out” along with the machine. Such equipment is considered mandatory for any more or less "serious" SUV. However, the use of winches is not limited to this — they can also be used on tow trucks, for loading / unloading boats and other similar cargo on special trailers, etc.
