Dashcams with signature detection
Signature detection
— a feature found in models with a radar detector (see "Assistants") and designed to improve the accuracy of radar recognition. Its essence lies in the fact that samples (signatures) of radiation from the most popular radar models are entered into the device’s memory, and when a signal is detected, the device compares it with the data in memory. Thus, it is possible to filter out extraneous interference from real signals quite accurately and minimize the likelihood of extraneous triggering; in addition, the detector can determine which type of radar is operating on the track. However note that signature recognition affects the cost and somewhat slows down the response of the device; and the list of signatures in memory inevitably turns out to be limited, it is impossible to add absolutely all radars to it.signature detection | clear | Save List |
