Water cooled boat motors
— water (liquid) cooling systems are considered more efficient than air ones; and in outboard motors, their use is facilitated by the fact that an almost unlimited amount of water is constantly in close proximity to the engine. Thanks to this, the cooler can be scooped right overboard and dumped there without building bulky closed circuits, and the water supply can be carried out due to the pressure arising from the operation of the propeller or the movement of the boat (however, in high-end motors for water intake, a special pump can still be provided) . As a result of all that has been described, water cooling systems are found in motors of almost any power and price category.
