Inertial reels

Inertial reels

— such reels are similar in appearance to fly fishing reels (see the relevant paragraph) — to the point that at first glance these two types may not be distinguishable from each other at all. The main difference between inertial models is higher strength (and, as a result, more weight), which allows the use of such tackle even with steel wire. Also, these reels have a slightly different specialization — they are considered more suitable for bottom fishing.
