Built-in line counter

— the built-in counter is used to keep track of the amount of line reeled off the reel. This function is relevant primarily for those types of fishing where you need to accurately maintain the depth of the lure, and the depth itself can be quite large — we are talking primarily about trolling or vertical lure when sea fishing. Counters can be either mechanical (reliable, inexpensive, but not very accurate) or electronic (characterized by accuracy and an abundance of additional features, but they are more expensive and require power).
