— brushing technology mainly used in brushes with round heads. During operation, the bristles in such a brush rotate back and forth around the central axis of the head at a small angle.

This technology is considered more advanced than reciprocating brushing — in particular, it provides better and at the same time gentle treatment of the interdental space and other similar places. However such brushes still do not reach the efficiency of sonic and ultrasonic ones — but they are much cheaper.
