Directional skis

Directional

— skis are called directional skis, in which the front and back parts differ markedly in shape: the tip is pointed or rounded, and the tail has a rectangular (or similar to a rectangle) shape. Such models are designed for skiing in one direction only; this is good for alpine and cross-country skiing, but poorly suited for freestyle.
