Features of this function in different helmets may vary: for example, in some models, separate control of the front and rear holes may be provided, and/or the ability to cover the ventilation only partially (reducing its intensity, but not closing it completely).

Anyway, this feature provides additional features for adjusting the helmet to the situation: for example, in cold weather or heavy snowfall, the ventilation can be closed, and in good weather, it can be opened back.
