Climbing crampons

Crampons

— equipment used primarily on snow and ice. Climbing crampons are a specially shaped set of prongs that attach to the sole of a shoe; the teeth effectively "bite" into the ice and dense snow, preventing slipping.

Note that modern cats can differ both in the complexity of the conditions for which they are designed, and in the design of the attachment to the shoe. These points should be clarified when buying.
