— enamel, unlike other types of coatings, does not have non-stick properties; on the other hand, it costs much less than most of them, and is not as delicate as Teflon (although it also requires accuracy and does not tolerate “hard” cleaning). The enamel coating can be used in both inexpensive and fairly advanced cookware; the quality and durability of such a coating, usually, also significantly depend on the price.
