Cookware with this function is made of heat-resistant materials, which usually withstand the operating temperatures of modern ovens without consequences; however, if teflon or marble coating is present (see relevant paragraph), care must be taken. Also note that in some models, for installation in the oven, you have to remove the handles — otherwise they could melt or create difficulties due to excessive length (the latter is especially true for ladles).
