Amplifiers with pre-out
Pre-Amp (direct)
— the presence in the design of the amplifier of the output, which receives the signal processed by the preamplifier — is already powerful enough for the power amplifier to work, but still too weak for direct output to acoustics. Preamplifiers as a separate type (see the relevant paragraph) have this output by definition, but it can also be found in integrated models, and even in power amplifiers that do not have their own preamplifier. In the last two cases, this feature is useful primarily for bi-amping, when another power amplifier is connected to an existing power amplifier, and both of these components receive the same signal from the preamp.| Pre-Amp (direct) | clear | Save List |
