Pottery is very diverse in terms of overall quality and, accordingly, price, however, the properties of the material do not always determine the final cost of the service: sets similar in type of ceramics can vary greatly in price due to the difference in design.

In general, most ceramic sets are simpler and cheaper than porcelain ones, but there may be exceptions. At the same time, we note that the difference in price between porcelain and ceramics is due not so much to practical properties as to the general impression that the dishes make. Therefore, if practicality is of key importance, and elegant appearance is not particularly important, it is quite possible to get by with relatively simple and affordable materials.
