— mirrorLink technology is designed to integrate smartphones into car multimedia systems, in other words, in order to provide additional options when connecting a smartphone to the car radio. With this connection, the radio tape recorder actually plays the role of an external playback and control unit: video and audio from a portable device can be broadcast to it; from the control panel, steering wheel remote control, radio touch screen, you can give commands to the phone, etc. Of course, these functions are available only with mobile devices that support MirrorLink (these are mostly advanced Android models).
