— a lid attached to a container by swivel hinges or similar devices, and which is swiveled to the side when opened. The advantage of this design is that the lid is always on the container — accordingly, there is no need to look for a place to put it, and the risk of losing the lid is reduced to almost zero. Among the shortcomings of such models, one can note a slightly increased size and weight, as well as the inability to fully open the container in the absence of a sufficient amount of free space above it.
