Axe

— a device for use in conjunction with multifunctional shovels of a foldable design, which is an ax head with a pointed blade at one end and a flat butt on the side of attachment to the shovel handle. It is intended mainly for tourist purposes — to chop wood for kindling a fire, to hammer pegs of a tent, etc. Also, if the shovel is well sharpened along the edges and its blade is able to cope with the felling of small trees, such a constructive solution is also considered to be an “axe”.
