Bow saws
prices on 29 models— the design of the bow saw includes a curved frame, at the ends of which there are fasteners for the blade. The canvas itself, when installed in such a saw, is stretched, like a bowstring; this allows the use of narrow blades, which at the same time do not deform during operation. The bow design is considered optimal for saws for metal (see "Purpose"), but this is not limited to this: some models are initially made multi-purpose, and in others, material compatibility is often determined by the presence of an appropriate replacement blade "in the household". Actually, removable blades are one of the main advantages of such saws; but among the shortcomings, it can be noted that with a strong penetration into the material, the frame rests on it and prevents further sawing. However, in some archery saws, this disadvantage is compensated by swivel mounts for the blade.
