— saws for sawing narrow grooves have a rectangular blade and, usually, an elongated handle directed parallel to the butt. Sometimes such a handle is placed at the level of the butt, sometimes at the level of the middle of the blade. The teeth on grooving saws are very fine. All this contributes to the accuracy required for high-quality sawing grooves. Also note that such saws, similar to passer saws, are compatible with miter boxes and are sometimes even equipped with them.
